Lightroom Blog has been running since Aug 2006. It’s still busy traffic wise, but it’s come to the point where I’m already managing too many sites while trying to keep a photography business running and be a single parent. It’s not going away though. It’s more being amalgamated into my personal photography site (as distinct from my commercial photography).
To this end Lightroom-blog will start to redirect to the Lightroom category in my blog. The more popular posts will be revised and updated and the ones that were essentially news of the week trimmed. I’m not sure we still need Lightroom 2.0 features at this stage. All the youtube content has been posted to both sites for a long time now, so anything recent is already over there.
That site is also being moved to Squarespace. There’s still a lot to be done. There’ll be a soft launch before the trail runs out next week and I’ll just keep working away on it from there. Aka expect older stuff to be broken. Holler if there’s specific stuff missing because most of the assets are still online, but may not be connected correctly.
Thanks for all your support for this site, but with all that’s happened in the last year, I kinda need to bring back the city and have one main spot online for myself.
