A big thanks to all those that came out to my evening talks on Lightroom for The Societies. Software classes tend to be underattended here, so the walkups were especially welcome. Special thanks as well to Podge Kelly for feeding, watering and putting up with me on the trip too (that's his photo above too-teaching him how to tweet!). It's great that a UK based organisation is willing to put on talks for their Irish members, and are willing to use local speakers.
I've just done an interview with Matt Brandon (@digitaltrekker) for a forthcoming Craft and Vision title. Matt is a true gentleman, and his podcasts are gold. After listening to the Brian Smith podcast, I feel blessed to be interviewed in such esteemed company. Brian has a new book out called Secrets of Great Portrait Photography: Photographs of the Famous and Infamous. I've ordered it!
Next week, I'm teaching Lighting and Lightroom classes in Buxton. I blogged about it before. The next one is in April, but is moving to Glensevin in Wales. More details on Paul RG Haleys website. Considering the number of trainers, and that the price includes food and accomodation, it's a bargain weeks training.
So that's the ongoing news from me. Back to regular posting shortly!
