Lightroom 5.6, Camera Raw 8.6 and DNG Convertor 8.6 now available from Adobe.com or via their update mechanisms.
This release gives camera support for the Nikon D810, Panasonic LUMIX AG-GH4 & LUMIX DMC-FZ1000. 22 new Lens Profiles have been added, including the new Canon 16-35 f4L IS, with bulk of the others being for Sony Alpha.
In addition there are many bug fixes including:
- Custom Sort Order Collections could prevent sync with Lightroom mobile on occasion.
- Star Ratings from imported Camera Roll photos in Lightroom mobile didn’t sync properly to the desktop.
- Star ratings from Collections with 100+ could fail to sync with Desktop.
- Persistant ‘Syncing ….images’ state issues resolved.
- Updated the Adobe Standard Profile for RC DNG Convertor users.

Unbeliviable, they made a mistake in the correct writing for the new canon 16-35 so that the lens will not be detected.
Should be: Canon EF 16-35 mm f/4L IS USM

I love your optimism for a 5.7- which would be 3 months out based on historical release intervals. In the meantime you can just select the lens from the list once, and then in Setup, select ‘Save New Lens Profile Defaults’.
