Lightroom 3.6 and the corresponding Camera Raw 6.6 are now available as Release Candidates on Adobe Labs. Release Candidates have received general testing, but Adobe’s recent policy has been to provide versions to the general public to catch any bugs that may have been missed. The software is stable and ready for release, just making sure something didn’t slip through.

Who should download this? People interested in testing the product, people with a new camera that has gained support (Canon PowerShot S100, Nikon 1 J1, Nikon 1 V1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 and Samsung NX5) or those suffering with a bug fixed in this version.

In addtion to new camera support, these new versions add lens profiles for additional Sigma, Mamiya, Phase One, Schneider-Kreuznach and Nikon lenses. A full list of details can be found on Lightroom Journal, the official Adobe Blog.
