Over on his blog Glyn Dewis recounts a tip learned from Scott Kelby on inverting a layer to help find hard to see spots. When I retweeted it, I got asked how to do this in Lightroom, so here’s how:

Nice tip, thanks for sharing. To add to it though, make it a user preset so that it’s a one click process to reverse an image.
You could make 2, one to invert, one to revert!
