If you were lucky enough to see last weekends Creative Live with Pixiq’s own Matthew Jordan Smith (and if you didn’t you missed out!), you’d have seen him shooting with Sony cameras and Carl Zeiss lenses. His work was beautiful and we got to see it as he shot, because he was tethered into Lightroom.
Now Sony cameras are not supported in app for tethering, so tech Nikko Mamallo had to figure it out. He details how to do this, using Sony apps and Auto Import over at the Creative Live blog. A worthwhile read for Sony users.
I’ve used Sony cameras at shows and was well impressed by the colour tone and the sharpness of the lenses, so even though they lag behind the biggies (Nikon and Canon), the gear is solid stuff.
