Lightroom mobile was updated to version 2.5.0. The major addition to this is DNG capture, which requires iOS10. This allows iPhone and iPad users to catch up to Android users. They’ve had DNG capture since February. Apple have limited the features to 12MP cameras though so older phones and one of the iPad Pro’s are left out.
Here’s a look at shooting DNG and JPEG and doing a comparison in Lightroom desktop when the images have synced.
Now that I can record directly from the device, I’ll be doing more videos on Lightroom mobile.
