It’s been a while since I’ve done some link love, so I’m putting that house back in order.
Laura Shoe did a 3 day course on Lightroom 4 for Creative Live. While the course discount is gone, you can still buy the whole thing for only $99!
Lightroom Journal highlighted both the Hot Issues with Lightroom 4.0 and announced the Release Candidate for Lightroom 4.1.
Besides the Lightroom issues, they also let us know about the continuing correlation between Lightroom and Camera Raw.
John Beardsworth has a post on the change of status of Flagging from local to global, called, ‘Where are my xxxxxxg flags?’
I came across a Lightroom Plugin called [t]Safe from Top Tech Photo that allows you to lock photos with a password. I know way back in the first Beta (pre Lightroom 1), you could hide images, and that this is still a feature request to this day. This $19.99 plugin might solve this issue.
Victoria Bampton’s Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 – The Missing FAQ is available on Amazon at last. I’ve been reading through the eBook and it’s great, but it’s hard to beat a printed copy-it doesn’t run out of battery or get hard to read in sunlight for a start!
The Lightroom Lab have a new YouTube video on Lightroom User Interface Tricks.
Pixel Training have a post on Colour Labels Sets. While the mention that you can only have one set in Bridge, they neglect to mention that the sets have to match with Lightroom for Bridge to read them from Lightroom XMP. Still a good intro article to Labels.
Almost forgot to link to Stu Maschwitz post on what he’d like to see in an iPad version of Lightroom.
Hopefully that’s keep you going for a while!
