Lightroom has been updated to version 5.5 Download Mac PC. The matching Camera Raw 8.5 for Photoshop is also available.
Lightroom Mobile is now extended to the iPhone from the original iPad only launch. New features include the much requested Star Ratings, and Custom Sort order (LR 5.5 required). You can sort sort on Multiple Criteria, e.g. Flag and Star Rating. 3rd party photos can be sent to directly, without saving to the Camera Roll. There’s now a preference to prevent sleep during sync. iOS7 is required, meaning the original iPad and older iPhones can’t use it.
Lightroom 5.5 adds new camera support: Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II, FinePix S1, Nikon 1 J4, Nikon 1 V3, Nikon 1 S2, Olympus OM-D E-M10, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH4, Pentax 645Z, Samsung NX3000, Sony ILCE-7S (A7S), Sony RX100MIII, Sony ILCA-77M2 (A77 II).

New Tether support: Nikon DF, Nikon D610, Nikon D5300 & Canon T5. Remember Tether Support is based on the camera manufacturer providing an SDK to 3rd parties to allow them access to the camera to control them. If none has been provided, Lightroom cannot add support for it.
Bug Fixes include: Better response in Develop during mobile sync. Over brightness in Fuji XT-1 files using Dynamic Range 200%/400% at high ISO fixed. Older Nikon lossless compressed Raw files (Pre D2Xs) suffered reading issues, this is fixed (Camera Raw Cache purge required). Spot Healing noise with HDR images fixed.
While Lightroom will remain a perpetual product, there are changes to the CC Photographer bundle. The current $9.99 (and other current currency prices) will remain as the standard prices, but with a reduction in file storage from 20 to 2GB, but with unlimited Lightroom Sync.
